Today the Liberal Party pulled a stunt in the Senate to rearrange Government business.
This is the same behaviour we saw from them in June.
Liberal Senators have caused the Senate to lose valuable time to debate the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme bills.
It is disappointing given the Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Nick Minchin, has been complaining about not having enough time to properly debate the legislation.
This is more of the same delaying tactics from Liberal Senators.
Despite Mr Turnbull’s efforts to negotiate in good faith, Liberal Senators continue to run away from debate on the CPRS bills.
With less than a week left to debate legislation this year, the Opposition is more concerned with blocking the Government’s agenda than debating this important legislation.
